SE Ohio turkey question?

Hi All,
 
What do you folks in SE Ohio think this crazy warm weather is going to do to turkey season this this year in SE Ohio?  I have a tripped planned to Vinton Co. but I am beginning to think the Toms are going to take care of business and go back to eating before the season ever starts?  I saw a big Tom struttin' the other day and I am only 10 miles south of the Michigan border.

I agree that warmer weather fired up those turkeys early. Maybe if we get a cold snap they will settle down but I am not optimistic about our season this year.

Here on the Western side of WV ( Mason Co.) the hens don't start setting till our second week anyway, so the early start might be good. I know they are gobbling hard first thing in the morning and then get quite till around ten am as of now.

I just about stepped on one yesterday.  It sat quiet while my dogs ran by it, but busted out from almost under my feet when I got to it.  I couldn't tell if it was a hen or tom, it settled down in a tree well out of my visual range.
