I was bored today and decided to make an atlatl out of a broken longbow that I have had laying around for a while. It was pretty easy to cobble together the atlatl and then I made a dart out of a couple of carbon arrow shafts I had laying around. It turned out pretty good, throws good and the dart flys really well.
It makes for a fun way to salvage a broken longbow.
