savage 111 7mm-08 HOW OLD?

I have a savage model 111 in 7mm-08 serial#F288702 can anyone tell me how old ths is? OR where to find out?. Savage website was no help.

Seeing as how the 7mm-08 came out around 1980 or so-----it couldn't be any older than that.
