I have not. Looks good but not a gas checked bullet. If you keep it to regular revolver loads ( 700 - 800 fps), it should be a nice round (you may get up to 150 fps more velocity from the 20" barrel ?). Trail Boss would probably suit this bullet well. You got me looking at the RCBS 300 gr SWC GC

I haven't either. I have the best accuracy with heavy bullets from Cast Performance Bullet Co. Their 335gr and 360gr WFNGC bullets shoot real well with 2400 powder.

I have shot the 270 bullet to 1700fps and no leading. I casted my own so I can not say how the ones you are looking at will work.

I would expect that .452 might be too small a dia. in many guns, but the proof is in the doin'........

the cylinder throats on my 25-5 later production run tight---.452 +/- some change---shot well with them today for the first time
will try them in the carbine for accuracy/leading before i get the .454's to try out

The mould was a group buy mould from MP moulds. I do not have it anymore. I sized it in my RCBS luber to 0.454" and used NRA 50/50 lube.
As far as the actual load I will not say. It is not that hard to hotrod the colt. A good article to read about the colt in other guns besides a pistol is here.

Just do not se any of these loads in a pistol!
