I only use USPS priority mail, since I like complete Handis, I almost always order a stock set and just send the frame in a free smal USPS priority box, insured and free delivery confirmation using Click-n-Ship, the costs about $10 insured and they'll have it in 2-3 days. If you have a scale, printer, and a credit card, that's the easiest way to ship something, no waiting in line either, just hand it to a clerk all prepaid and ready to go. You can also schedule a pick up for free.

Here's an old discussion on shipping firearms, in just about every discussioin of this type, USPS is usually the top choice.

Thanks for posting the links Tim.  I bookmarked them and WILL use them.  The free delivery confirmation with the tracking number would have given us a clue with the missing shotgun barrel.  In the past, I always paid for a delivery confirmation on everything I shipped.
