My first fur harvest
« on: February 04, 2012, 03:24:01 PM »
Me and my bud did it by the numbers this year and skinned all of our catches and kills to be sold on the market.  Definately not the biggest harvest of all time but I learned alot from the fur buyer and we are taking the money that we made tonight and are going to buy some more supplies for the next season.  Coon and Muskrat based on the selling prices for them this year will be targeted heavy by us this coming season.  We made 160 bones from 14 coon and 2 Coyote (The buyer didnt want one of the dogs).

We started late with the raccoon (second week in December) and I have high hopes of getting ALOT more coon this coming season.
It's all a hot mess...........

Congratulation fellows.  Planning ahead for next season, wise move.  Get everything ready before season  plus  permission to trap and  give it all you got .  Good Luck
