Well i put together a 30 30 that was shooting 1" or better i put in the safe took it out then it shoots 3" same load same setup. Looked at the barrel it was dirty but not bad so i cleaned it good. Went and shot it again it went to about 2" then 3 more rounds back to about 1 to 1 1/4 inch. So i think it likes to be a little dirty!!!!
