22 Hornet
« on: January 29, 2012, 10:50:30 AM »
I am fairly new to buying NEF/H&R and sometimes miss out on good deals, like we all do I'm sure.  Currently looking at a 22 Hornet with sights, BA receiver and a scope rail with PW furniture and schnabel(sp?) forend.  Looks to be shot very little if at all.  I am trying to figure out what a good deal is whether as a complete gun or just the barrel.

To be honest, I am going back and forth on this one.  I think I can get it for less than 150, but it is not a caliber I shoot or have shot.  I already have an H&R in 223.  May just buy it to resell later.

Buy it and shoot it, the old 22 Hornet may grow on you. It has grown on a bunch of the members here, myself included, four of them live at my place.
