Went to the range today as the temps were in the 30's. Nice and sunny and no wind.

Shot the orange target below with the same load as the white target below, which was shot last summer. Both shot at 100 yards. Just trying to see if it would be consistent with the seasons. Looks like it like it could be a thumper next fall. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for elk in the timber.
355 grain bullet at moderate velocity should be adequate.
