Where is my ejector?
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:16:29 AM »
One of the reasons I ordered a Survivor was because it still had the ejector.  My new gun arrived today and lo and behold, extractor.  I'm ticked.

All the centerfire rifles have been extractor for quite a while now.  A few years.

What Pete said, they haven't made a centerfire rifle with an ejector since about 2007, they started switching to extractors in 2004.

I guess Davidson's Gun Genie needs updated info then.  They still have the gun listed with an ejector.

Not surprising, some retailers still have them listed as NEF too, but they don't make them anymore either, the only H&R current firearms with ejectors are shotguns and rimfires.

FYI: The 45-410 Survivor likely still has an ejector, but not the 223 or 308.

I got my new 45/410 last September and it is an ejector barrel.

Now you know why I won't buy a new Handi!  They took a great hunting rifle and ruined it.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
