1st trip out with the newly reamed 357 max barrel
« on: January 24, 2012, 06:04:51 PM »
Took it out this evening for its first trial run after reaming both 357 mag barrels recently.  I loaded up 20 rounds with 18gr lilgun under 180 ssp and I ended up with 1.15" at 100 for the first 3 shot group (all others under 2").  I think we have a winner winner chicken dinner.  Thanks to GBO for offering the reamer.  Will take the other barrel out this weekend and see what she can do.  I think my little girl may have her first deer rifle!  ;D

The Maxi is one of my favorites. I got my mother one a few years back and she loves it too. I wish your daughter good luck with it during the next deer season.

Thanks,Dinny

Thanks guys for the reminder.  Patty's got a Maxi now too.  The weather's been too crappy for her to get out and shoot it, but I've got to get some Maxis loaded for her.  She's got plenty of .38s and mags.

Yep, my favorite. Load extra bullets cause they wont last very long. :)
