modern belt holsters with thumbsnap for the CZ 52
« on: January 19, 2004, 06:30:49 AM »
I was shopping not long ago and found the above mentioned holsters.  This is a nice, leather, rightside thumbsnap belt holster that also appeared
to be usable as a cross draw holster.  I do not have a photo, but I saw them at RPB, (404) 297-0907.  http://www.rpbusa.com
I apologize if this amounts to advertising, just trying to offer an alternative to the military flap holster.  Not my handgun in the picture, but I sure like the sights and finish.

You probably know about this site but just in case you don't:

http://www.makarov.com/cart/vitemcz52.htm

They have the nylon holsters for CZ52's. I went to your site that you provided but didn't see any leather holsters I have thought about having a holster make at a leather shop from and original holster, or dyeing one black. I have 4 CZ52's and took one of the holsters and cut the flap off, it turned out pretty good...quick draw for a CZ!  8)

At makarov.com they do the custom sight work like whats on the photo that you provided. Thats what I bought the 4th one for, but haven't sent it off yet.

Sorry, I didn't peruse the website first for a photo of that holster, I saw it in person.  I believe it was $25.00.  Currently I do not own a CZ 52.  I got to messing around with the rifles and wound up owning four #527's and a Brno 601.  I am in the process now of finding a gunsmith to turn one of the #527's into a 6x45mm.
