It looks as if it has a firing pin. It could be a 10 or 12 GA salute cannon.

That's what I thought, Dominick. A fellow here in town built one very similar, 12 gauge, but with a break apart breech, rather than a screw in.

It took a while to find the listing. The seller "measured" the barrel at 7/8" My guess would be some sort of 8 guage blank. Don't know if that is bore or chamber. Definately a cartridge gun.
