Minimum tube length for 9 and 10 rnds of .357 in a m92
« on: January 19, 2004, 12:29:26 AM »
I have a Rossi m92 in .357 and would like to know if someone can tell me what the minimum barrel length would have to be for the magazine to hold 10 rounds of the maximum length .357 say with a 180 gr. bullet on top and the maximum length for 9 rounds of the same. I want to make the current 20" barrel and tube a little more handy and would like to lop it off some but I have not decided what will be the number of rounds it will hold yet-either 9 or 10 rounds. It depends on what the difference would be in length.

I think 17-18" is the minimum for ten rounds of .357. My 16" will hold eight.
