« on: January 07, 2012, 01:06:13 PM »
This poll if from USA Today and asks the critical question of whether the Second Amendment means that individuals have the right to own a gun.  This us what SCOTUS found and what Holder et al hate.  Please vote and post this wherever is appropriate.

Just click the link below to go to the poll.

Vote.

Thank you.

To be accurate, the 2A doesn't GIVE the right to bear arms to individuals, it PROTECTS that right from government infringement. The right for individuals to bear arms was understood as a part of natural law, as the means by which an individual could protect his life, liberty and property. I voted yes 'cause that's the way the poll works.

Same here.
the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.
