Who owns a USRAC M70 featherweight in 6.5 swede?
« on: January 17, 2004, 11:51:37 AM »
I have a USRAC M70 featherweight in 6.5 swede, that is a pretty good rifle, but won't extract reliably at all.   The empty slips out from under the extractor when I retract the bolt.  I've replaced the extractor once, and tweaked the tension, to try and fix this, but no luck so far.  If you have one of these rifles, does yours extract OK?  Reply or send me an email, please.  Just looking for ideas to solve the problem.

Thanks
Regards,

Tom

I would send it back to the factory.  Is it new or did you buy it used?  JimmyP

Tom, you've fought the good fight with that beast and I'd send it in. I'd say it's the extractor and probably the wrong one.    Dave
