FREE Ballistics Calculator
« on: December 30, 2011, 11:05:29 AM »
I'm not sure if this is the place to post this information or not; however, I thought I would share the link to the FREE ballistics calculator that I found last night. It helped me immensely with understanding how my .223 Handi rifle loads perform

Good Luck !

If this is in the wrong place, please move. I think this might be a good link to be made a sticky.  ;)

This is the same calculator I used before sighting in my Sidekick with Buckhorn and Hornady FPB's.  Results: two deer down in one day.

Been using Point Blank for a year or so, great free program has graphs an such that are a little easier to read than the charts. There is a learning curve but it's pretty easy, http://huntingnut.com/index.php?name=PointBlank

This is the free one I use. Seems to work fine for me, not alot of variance from what I can tell so far.

I think I tried Point Blank once; however, as I recall, it seemed pretty difficult as far as the user interface goes.

It was most likely my simple mind that couldn't grasp it.  ;)

I have one I have been using for about three years.  I run it off on the printer and tape it to the stock of the gun I am taking.  It helps me refresh my memory on trajectories for the differant guns I carry.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
