a 3 set i put together last few days
70#  31bop 420grain poc  no tip yet
maybe a snuffer or a hexhead not sure yet
just one coat sunshine orange rit dye to darken a lil
3 coats poly wipe gloss steel wool scuffed to satin
4in. feathers left hielical left overs from last set shield cuts

I always wondered- are there any advantages or disadvantages with fluflus as opposed to shield cut or parbolic cut feather fletching?
 
I had to sell my first recurve summer before last when I got into a bind with a car problem. I am "recurveless" but I intend to change that here soon. When I get a new bow I want to start making my own wood arrows.

Flu Flus are for short range use, like birds on the wing or shooting up into trees where arrow loss otherwise would be very likely.
