luckydawg13,

I picked up a hammer classic (30" barrel) just over a month ago. I really like the look of it. I have been wanting to break it in. But, it seems something has got in the way of that on every trap shooting day at the range.  :(

Hopefully, I can give you an update fairly soon......

luckydawg13,

I was finally able to get the CZ out to the range for a few rounds of trap.  I really enjoyed shooting the SxS for the first time.  The 1st & 2nd runs I scored a 19, the 3rd. time thru I scored 21.

I normally shoot either a Winchester 101, or, a Remington 1100.  I now have a new favorite!  I am fairly new to trap shooting and don't have a lot of rounds under my belt, however, this was the first time I broke the 20 mark.

As, for the gun, it worked flawlessly.  The action is still a little tight but that should loosen up after a few more runs.  It is also a bit tiring on the thumb as the hammers are pretty stiff too.  All in all, I would recommend this gun.  It shoots Great, Looks Great and has that nostalgic appearance.  I am very happy with it!

 luckydawg13,

That's what I ran across. I checked numerous gun shops in town. None of them had one or, could find one from their normal suppliers.  Some could come up with the coach gun but, since I wanted the 30" it made it tougher. I  stopped into a pawn shop and talked to the owner about one and he was able to locate one in stock at his supplier "Ellet Brothers". So, I took a chance and had him bring one in.

Good luck with your hunt and let us know if you end up with one.
