Stock question
« on: November 01, 2011, 04:14:30 PM »
I found a 45-70 today with a straight Topper style stock, but it's an SB-2 frame and the stock has a pinkish/greenish tint to it.  It looks factory, but I was just wondering if anyone else has a handi with a stock like that?  BTW I put it back till I can get paid...187.00 out the door.

Pics would be great. Was it a laminate stock or wood?

Yes I put money down and no I am not telling where it's at!!!  The stocks were laminate, I've just never seen the straight stock like that one.  I will definitely post pics when I get it!

It is like that one Mr. Q.  I think it may have more of a pinkish tint, but that's it.  Was that something special???

It's camo lam, not really special, H&R made them for quite a while I think, they were available from H&R in Gardner and Brownell's had them in stock at one time too.
