New Tikka Laminate!

I am wanting to buy a 338 mag rifle this year and I was considering either a Tikka, Rem700, or a Ruger M77. I read that Tikka will offer a new SS Laminate stock Tikka[LSS] sometime this year. Opinions on a laminate stock and comparison of the above mentioned rifle?

Not very happy with my ruger m77 laminate stock. poor fit and finish and it sweeled up like a balloon in heavy rain. Probably a ruger thing tho. Finish is now flaking off it swelled so bad. I intend to contact ruger about it. The rifle is going away regaurdless, gonna get a tikka :)

I restocked my Remington 700 BDL .270 with a Remington laminated stock. I find it more comfortable to shoot and get better groups.

I currently have a Tikka Laminated Stainless in 25-06. I haven't taken it hunting yet and, as such, can't say much regarding swelling, but the quality is great. I like it much more than my Tikka synthetic stock, which is still good.

i like the new laminate t3. i have only handled one but it was nice. the recoil pad looked like it was put on late on a friday afternoon. my new ruger is sitting at the shop and i will pick it up this week. going to top it with a 3-9 leupold.

I'm wondering if the laminated stocks on the T3 are the same as the WH? Anybody know?

I would think the T3 stock will be trimmer---although I haven't seen one yet.
Handled a laminated WH----VERY fat in the grip.

I know - really fat.
Let me tell you....GB has a Remington Mountain Laminated Stainless (I think in 7-08 if I remember correctly). Anyway, I have handled this gun in the store and I really like it. I would imagine that, if the T3 laminated Stainless stock is indeed slimmer, then it would be Tikka's version of Remington's mountain rifle. This sounds kinda cool.
Although I like the WHs more than the T3s, a slimmer, trimmer laminated stock on the T3 would be really nice.
