Encore frame rubbing barrels

Hi guys
My frame rubs the bluing off the barrels. It is in one spot on both sides in a semi circle. Should I polish the frame until it stops rubbing? Will this affect the way it locks up?
Thanks,
Bulletstuffer

They all do, as do Contenders. Don't polish the frame.
