Starting to get things in Order
« on: October 12, 2011, 07:34:16 PM »
Spending my days and nights getting everything back in order.
Convention season leaves my shop in one big mess.I am getting all my supplies back in order--makes it a lot easier to fill orders when I don't have to hunt for things.
To break things up a bit, I am going over my stop loss and boxing them up for opening day. I still have a few traps to dip, but most are ready.

I just finished up two days ago with another dozen DP's & six more 220's. Now I'm focusing on the new fur shed. I have the big fleshing beam mounted, the gambrel & winch all done, I have piped in music, and knives & hand tools on the wall. I need to figure something out with my smaller fleshing beams. The work bench is too high to flesh on so I may make myself a sit down rig and mount the boards to that.

Make sure you arent reaching or bending over the sit down fleshing beam.... i speak fm experience.   I have a mink and rat  set up on  a sit down and revamped  the first  one  so as to have  a  back rest and the  fleshing beam is within  easy arms reach WITHOUT REACHING.

I have found a boat load of ideas but the best that I have found is like you had stated here. The sit down type. My back is already worn out and damaged from years of stupidity as a young buck. I'm not saying that I'm old. Just worn out!!!
