Forend fitting
« on: January 09, 2004, 11:37:15 AM »
Has anyone out there tried altering a laminated forend to fit a shotgun barrel?

I've got one of the Boyd's laminate stocks sets on an Encore with a 24" 308 factory barrel, and eventually I'd like to get a 12ga. turkey barrel. I'd like to keep the look of the laminate, but the only forends I see are composite (black/camo) or walnut.

Check with EABCO they carry laminated stocks, you might give them a call and talk to them about which laminated forend you could use for your barrel.  I know what your talking about, I have the pepper colored stock on my heavy barrel Encore in stainless and love the look and feel of the stock.  Good Luck with your search!
