Frost on the truck wind shield here Thursday morning heading to work. Wasn't so hard that the window washer fluid & wipers made short work of it. Still pretty early though it seems to kick the furnace on. I got my mothers bird here while she is in rehab from a fall. So thats my excuse for turning on the furnace and I'm sticking to it.   I'm trying to teach the bird to call the dog, he used to repeat all kinds of things. Don't think he's talked at all since my old man died  about 3 years ago now. Don't remember just when ma got this goofy thing but he's like 15 or 20 years old.

What kind of bird?  McCaw or one of those white ones with crest?

Plain old gery cocketeal but he used to jabber all kinds of stuff. He's been doing some of the other birds he mocks more lately. So I might actually get him to repeat the dogs name time he goes back to my mothers apt.
