My 45-70 BC is the sweetest shootin handi I have. I am so happy with this gun I just had to buy another lol.

Mine too.  ;)  Albeit my .45LC is close behind.  ;)  Have a scope on it currently only for reload development.

My BC shot well at 32" and a little better cut down to 28". I wouldn't part with that barrel for nuthin!

Not trying to start anything and I sure don't mean to be trying to tell you what to do in your own house so please don't take offence at what I am about to say.
Just some friendly advice.
Get yourself a nice set of mounts of some sorts and move that long, heavy BC down below that beautiful mount you have on the wall. Not only will both the mount and the gun look better (my opinion) your trophy will last much longer.
That is a lot of weight hanging on those antlers.
Sure wouldn't want to see them come crashing down.

Just when I was thinkin' of buyin' that Cape Buffalo mount down at the local antique store..............I had not considered I would likely have to build a new wall.
Now if they would just make the TM in 30-30, or 32-40 and reintro the 38-55........and the 45C CR along with it in 357 Mag or even Max........and 327.......and........and
