I'm in need of returning my rossi 972 for a warranty repair. Can anyone give me some idea of what to expect of them and how long the average turnaround time is? What happened was I was target practicing with it and after reloading a few times, I went to lean it barrel down to reload again and the yoke just slid out and the cylinder hit the dirt. I then started looking at it and noticed the set screw to hold the yoke in place was missing. After feverishly searching for the screw I finally found it, cleaned everything up good, oiled it, and put it all back together but the screw still doesn't keep the yoke from sliding out. This is my first revolver so I'm not familiar with it much so there may be another piece under the screw missing maybe??? Anyone else had this happen to their revolver before? Hate to send it in but I just can't trust it the way it is so off it goes tomorrow.
