I've shot the 200gr FTX 460S&W ammo in my 460 Handi, velocity was 2875fps, might be too much for it at rifle velocities even in the Casull, pistol velocity is rated at 2200fps.

It should work pretty well as long as you avoid the bigger bones.

I shot a coyote with my 454 and the 200 grain FTX, at 130 yards through both lungs, and he was DRT.
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

I have been using this bullet since last spring. They shoot great and like Jimbo I have taken one coyote with them so far. Excellent expansion. My loads are med casull for velocity.

Thanks for the replies, I'd like to keep them around 2000 fps as long as they will still expand, any load data you might share?Velocites? I have 2400, H-110,W-296 and will be picking up some #9 next weekend.

Here's 3 shots at 50 yds with the 200gr FTX.  I think ...............29.8 grs of Enforcer.  Use at your own risk, CHECK MY NUMBERS.  Don't know if I have a velocity or not.  Will check later.

Any of those powders you named will work!

Just do like CW said, and load them about medium Casull loads with those powders and you'll be fine, as far as expansion.
