Glad to see I'm not the only one still willing to crawl on his roof. I've been picking away at mine for several weeks now. Mostly I'm getting beat by the weather shingles to hot to move on. I had my garage stripped off and redone before the Gallsville roudy. But the house is steep and been giving me fits because of the heat. I've got the front 99% done just need to pin on some of the finish pieces, nothing functional. I started on the back of the house yesterday and got one side torn off. Got part way up with the new shingles then took a break so my wife could fire her new Glock at the range. Came home ran a few more shingles and buttoned everything us so if it rained over night I'd be good. Of course now I'm here typing this and it's raining and it did rain during the night too. I got a couple days off work and was hoping to get the house complete before NTA. Then I've only got the back porch to do. So far I've carried every bundle of shingles up the ladder my self and nailed every shingle my self. Using my boys air nailer speeds things up, but I don't plan to ever do this again myself.
