even got one bulls-eye, got to like the 7600 and cheap federal ammo, was shooting good as the tikka t3 varmint rifle.

Must be the man behind the trigger everyone knows a 7600 is incapable of that sort of accuracy ;) . Congratulations on some fine shooting skills.

i should also mention i was using a vortex viper 3-9x40 scope with a Dead-Hold BDC Reticle, at 500 yards i was on top of the thick bar. the scope worked out well because the 30-06 it is the same or very close to BDC micro dots in accuracy.

I used to have a 7600 a few years back. It was neither a tack driver, nor a dog. Sounds like you were the determining factor.
