Aha , gotcha!   okay-okay   while trapping bvr saw some muskrats doing the muskrat ramble....LOL

 Trapping beaver one time, I heard a lot of splashing and carrying on-- it was not Muskrat Love--it was snapping turtle love.--

Tom what time of the year was that peeping tom episode you had with the turtles????   Ive seen the ol snappers doing the **Thang**   when im wild ricing at the end of August..

The Raging Cajun fm Louisiana had a  Cajun song on muskrat love and also one about  trapping rats and going to town....to sell pelts.  I dont remember the fellows real name but his stage name was  Raging Cajun and he played half time at the super bowl one year also.

Yotero, you sly dog you!!!   Now we all know  ;D .   I do remember a night in my younger years with a little filly  that locked up tight when yotes started screaming right next to the pickup during a late nite exploratory course in biology..... needless to say had to take her home RIGHT AWAY...... :(

I do quite a bit of small river wading while trapping my lines the first couple weeks of November. It is amazing the number of whitetail bucks sees humping an in heat doe if you are quiet. Not all is quiet during the night along the river bank in November here in wI!!! Listening to the sanhills while early season turkey hunting can drive one batty as well. They dance up quite a storm too and most turkeys stay clear as well.
