Same answer that I posted on the SA forum about this new Ruger...

No thanks!   If a SA doesn't go "clickety-click-click", I don't want it in the first place.   All of my SA's are loaded 5.   If I can't kill what I'm shooting at in 5 or less, I don't deserve it, and I am certainly not going to throw 5 more Hail Mary's at it.   ;)
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

The good thing is that it is not convertable.  Maybe the endless discussion over accuracy will not have to take pplace with this one.

It's not on the Single six frame size it's a SBH frame.

Where did you hear that?

I read a few weeks ago a post by a fellow that asked Ruger about the barrel and was told it is the same as the other single six's that have both cylinders.....

I recently read another post on another site from a person who claimed to have e-mailed Ruger questioning them about the S10 and they replied that the only difference is the pawl.   So someone was misinformed.  The question is who?

I emailed Ruger about this very question, they replied back that the only difference between s6 and s10 is the pawl, IOW, it has the barrel optimized for the .22 WMR"

On the plus side you can load 2 at a time because the chambers are so close and when you go to push out the empties the cylinder indexes correctly to help line up the chamber with the extraction rod......like the old 3 screws!

Ruger always does this to me.  I bought a 22/45 pistol when the grips were molded into the frame, had to get a rubber wrap around to widen the grip area, then they come out with a version that has separate grip panels to replace and customize it to your hand.

Bought a new Single six in stainless a few weeks ago, then of course Ruger has to come out with a whole new single action in .22 that holds lots of rounds after I buy their old model.  ???

Hillbill...yes, it has been a good gun so far, just put in a set of Wolf springs, anxious to see how it does at the range with a lighter trigger.  I have been a happy owner of a Single six Bisley for 9 years, so a new brother for it was an easy buy.
