yall been seeing any elk? we have them crossing the tug river into w.va now the herd is growing fast..

They have not made it to the north western part of the state yet (we are within 30 miles of Indiana and Illinois).

We have some in the upper northern central part of WI.  BUT the wolves and bear are keeping the nbrs down...cant get ahead of morrtality.

Fish -- those elk they first put here in southeastern Kentucky have really populated and spread.  They are more in the eastern part than in the southern part of the state but we have them in the surrounding areas.  It's a draw hunt, you send $10 in and if you're lucky, you get drawn.  (It's kind of a who you know deal too.) 

What we're worried about around here now is black bears.  They are starting to become a problem, tearing up and getting into things.

bears are quickly becoming a problem here too about a month ago the dnr had to kill one that was getting into peoples houses
