You are beyond help.. The next step is looking at reloading books to find various cartridges that would be fun to use on prairie dog shoots. There is one old shooter that started shooting p dogs in 1949 with a 22 RF rifle. As he could afford other new rifles he tryed them out in some what in this order. 270 Win, 222 Rem, 243 Win, 22-250 Rem, 22 WMR , 25-06 Rem, 22 Hornet, 17 Rem, 220 Swift, 17 HMR, 17 HM2, 204 Ruger, 221 Fireball, 17 Fireball and now hes looking for a 5.7 X 28 MM rifle. Before going pronghorn, mule deer, and elk hunting he would check out his 308 Norma Mag by shooting a few prairie dogs. He even changed jobs a few times so he could make more money. Each time he got a new rifle he would look a various scopes, reloading dies, and reloading componets. Some times he would glass bed actions, free float barrels, adjust triggers and have gunsmiths lapp bolt locking lugs and recrown muzzles. Spent hours reloading ammo and test shooting off a bench rest to find the sub 3/4 inch 100 yard groups, got some 1/4 inch groups ,so he could hit them at longer ranges.
