Savage 12BVSS in 22-250 will shoot 1/2" at 200yds.

Savage 16FSS in 7mm-08 will shoot right at 1" at this point but I'm still doing load work.

Takes a very good rest and shooting technique as well as some carefully worked up case necked handloads usually. No wind and loads should be checked for concentricity and under 2 thousandths run-out perferably at .001. Still not an easy task and not many guns will consistantly do it. My 16FSS has an air guaged barrel/target trigger/blueprinted action/bedded/in a very good stock with alum. pillar bedding skelton. Use a caldwell rest with a back sandbag on a bench rest table. The 12BVSS is a varmint gun with 1 1/2# trigger and bedded/floated 26" bull barrel.

There is no need to demand that level of accuracy unless you are really into things and a bit of an accuracy nut. Any gun that would shoot 2-3" at 200yds is a good shooter and capable of shooting better than most of us can hold without a rest while hunting anyway. Plus deer have a large kill zone about the size of a basketball so extreme accuracy is not necessary or easy to achieve under field conditions.

my tikka can shoot under and inch at 200yrds and most are under 2 inches depending on the load.

my 6.5 arch is about 1.5 to 1.75 from a soprter.  i havent worked up many loads for it but that is good enough for me.

i havent shot my 257 bob imp at 200 yet.

my 7mm shot a group at 300m that was 1.5 inches with a 168 matchking.
Let the heavens decide.

My tika-3 243 ss lite will shoot around or a touch under at 200 yds.

My model 7 rem. will shoot 2 - 3 in. at 200 yds.

My mini 14 will be lucky to hit target (12x12) at 200 yds.

Both 30/06's  one tika-3 and one vangaurd shoot a little over 1 in. at 200

Since your tightest group category is less than one foot I'd say dang nearly all the guns I've ever owned count beat that, well except for that Ruger #1B I had for a short while. BTW ' is foot  " is inch

This really isn't the kinda question the POLL option is designed for. Would be better just to ask your question and let folks respond.

I shoot one shot groups. That is one shot from a clean, cold barrel, daily from field positions. I can keep 'em on an 8" pie plate out to 250 yards, except for offhand, without a prop.
