Hello all,
I have what looks like ( for what that's worth ) a Rem. .44-40 rolling block "light baby" carbine.
It has no serial#.... no markings of any kind, except the caliber.. ie: 4 4 4 0 W C F ....... spaced out just that way, on the barrel.
I have found out that Rem. put some info on bottom of the barrel, under the forearm of some of their weapons
But have no intention of ruining anything, to go looking there.
Someone has put a new rear sight... possible front too.. on it.
Anyone know anything about these??? Or possibly know where to find info on them.
