What the heck is this??!!!

Look at the pics and tell me what you know...  This is extemely light...magnesium?  Each time you pull the trigger, a different firing pin engages.  Barrel diameter roughly that of a .410.  Look at the pics and please give me some insight.

It is a Scheintod tear gas gun. Might be worth some real $.  Collectors Firearms had a similar one (marked Scheintod and all-steel) listed for $750.  But they are notorious for over-pricing.
There were many copies and variations. Some were all steel, some zinc. Used in Germany pre-war II.  Said to be very handy to have in one's pocket in some quarters of Berlin late at night.
Fire a .410 shell in it and it's "Adios Amigo".
