28" Prohunter accuracy
« on: May 02, 2011, 05:08:40 AM »
I have read a lot about the accuracy of the longer Encore barrels.  Here is a picture of a nine shot group shot with my new one at 100 yds.  The target crossbar measures 1/2".  The "flyer" was me yanking the trigger!  This is a .223 shot with Black Hills 55gr FMJ once fired remanufactured ammo.  I think the trigger is a little heavy, but I sure can't complain...

Very nice!  I have a 26" 30-06 bull barrel on my encore and they make a fine gun.
