Has your bow come in yet??? Let us know how it shoots.
I think the reverse handle bow is an interesting idea.

NICE! b44mag, looks like a real dandy!  :)  Now lets see how she shoots! Seems to me those arrows you have ought  to work okay. I know carbon arrows seem alot stiffer spine then wood, so you may need a heavier point to get them flying straight? Good shooting brother!  scout4<><

well belive it or not ;) :o the only thing i have that she dont shoot good is 2117 @30 they hit left a bit. everything else shoots good now this was only at 10 yards.  but so far shes a keeper. i did not try the 55/75s yet they only weigh 417gr . 2117 @ 31.5 125 tip shoots great and trad only 500 @ 30 are the best they weigh in @605 and can hardly hear the bow shoot. i like these the best so far. the old bear 45/50 with razor tips shoot great too. i had one poc 70 @570gr 31bop it shot good too. i have to relearn my grip from the recurve. but man she shoots great. i think im a longbow man ;) ;D :o. i need to get some 125 or heavier blunts soon. so i can shoot my fluflus cause they are way to light with just a 357 shell for tip. woulld 478ish gr be too light of a arrow to shoot out of this bow @ 55# dont want to hurt her.??????? i have 18 old 50/60 bear woodies @30 that im redoing. i want to do 6 of each target and  razor with 5in. shields and 6 blunts with fluflu feathers.  with the vanes on they were 550 but with wrap and feathers they are only 478ish.
i have a tomco float scale then i go to a grams to grains site to figure it out thats why the 478ish
i dont understand how all these diff arrows shoot good but glad they do ??? ???
ill get some pics next time i shoot her. i should have done it the first time but was excited and forgot to take the camera.

ok i just go in from shooting the 55/75 and the 500
man she shoots. again only 10 yards but man i love this bow.
she bit me a time or two. i need to learn to shoot a longbow.
i tried to pay att to my bow arm to keep it bent a bit but i did get bit a few times.
going to leave a mark or should i say marks for sure. but i think a few more times out with her ill get it.
or she will get me . but anyway shes a shooter for sure
ima happy archer :D :D :D

Didn't you say the 2117's had vanes?  If so that's likely your bigger problem...

Vanes do not shoot very well over a shelf....  ::) Just look at your pic, the aluminum enter the target as a different angle than the feathered shafts.

Stick with feathers, you will be far happier.

no cw those were trad only 500s that are nock a lil right but still they flew great and to point
yhe ones with vanes are old woodies from bear around 1980s
i just finished the first 6 of them that were in good shape just needed refletched. i posted pics of them in other post heres what they look like now
after ripping the vanes off and a lil scotchbright
putting 51/2 wraps and 4in. feathers
they fly great woo hoo new old woodies
i have carbon and aluminum but i just like the old woodies
im glad they worked out and shoot good
i traded a old knife and 10 bucks for 18 brand new in boxes never shot about 60.00 bucks worth of a trade
good deal i think. i never used the old knife and i will shoot these till they break or i lose them
