Ice out St Croix area?
« on: April 10, 2011, 03:38:49 AM »
Tom has your spring bvr trapping area opened up yet.   We have ice here in alot of back woods ponds and streams but have very heavy rains now  so any  sets in open leads are WAY under water.  Ice will melt though as supposed to have 70-80 degree temps today.    Also heavy rains for next three days.... might be a very short spring season...

Lee, the Croix is flooding--they closed off the stillwater bridge a couple days ago. The lakes still have ice fishermen on them .
The northern lakes I trap will probably have ice on them for a couple more weeks.
