IF this is gonna be a working gun and you aren't too worried about looks or pretty, you can find stainless 44 5.5 inch barreled redhawks for VERY reasonable prices and while I don't like the single action trigger on them very much, they have good double action and you can stoke them real heavy with top end 44 loads with LBT style bullets and zap what ever it is that might come to try and eat you.
Shorter redhawks carry very well in a holster too. I Like Smiths better, but this is one chore better suited to the ruger.
