maggot,
Here's one interesting link:
http://www.gatlingguns.com/
And one more:
http://mem.tcon.net/users/5010/5491/gatling.htm
I've been thinking of making one of these myself one day but haven't gotten around to it yet...maybe a retirement project.
I knew a guy years ago who made replica submachine guns in .22 LR but this is something I don't think you want to get involved with unless you study the legal ramifications carefully.

My Dad and I got our plans from RG-G out of shotgun news, but as we were both employed at aerospace companies we used AutoCad and CadKey to redesign every part (he passed and I don't have a copy
, he also got 1/2 way through a 12" long turbine engine) It was not easy to make, we spent about a year to get to test firing. Lots of small detailed parts need to be made, many of them 10x, and tuned to work with the other parts you made 10x. We used all manual machines and did most of it on a Smithy 3in1. It currently still has an occasional problem with extraction, but is durable (haven't broken anything, yet).
