Which .223 Savage?

I'm looking at buying either a 25LV Savage or a 25 Walking Varminter.  Most of my shots will be no more than 100 yards, but a couple places might let me shoot 200.  Any recommendations?

I had a 223 and a 204 with the pencil barrels and accuracy was out standing on both, around 1/2 in. with different loads. Both had Acurr-triggers. Both great carry guns, but sold the 204 to a cousin and the 223 to a friend. They were both more impressed with them than I was.
