The Last Catch Of The Season!
« on: March 18, 2011, 06:56:00 PM »
With the 2010/2011 trapping season drawing to the end, I went out and set a number of 330's a few days ago for beaver. With the past couple days of finding empty traps, I decided that today I'd go out and pull them. I pulled the first two and moved onto the third and seen that I had scored! It wasn't anything huge like the 83lb'er that I got back in November but it's respectable. The fourth and final trap was empty. All traps are now in for maintenance and tuning. It's nice to end a season on a good note!

I Trap And I Hunt. Therefore I AM!

Good way to wind it up. our beaver season is open for another 6 weeks. Now all we need to do is get rid of all the ice and snow and go through some of the biggest floods in over 40 years.
 Enjoy your spring.

Congrats !!!!!!

What I hate most about end of the season is the empty shed.No furs to mess with..It's sure nice when it's full tho...
