On Target Technologies
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:35:50 AM »
Has anybody ever dealt with Mike? He was building a barrel for me a year and a half ago. I have contacted him a few times, but I noticed his website is no longer up. Is he still in business? Looks like I might have lost my barrel and my money.

Funny thing happened this morning, I heard from Mike. He said he is finishing up my barrel and it will be sent shortly. I have to say, The first barrel he did for me was beautiful and shoots nice.

Glad to hear you talked to Mike, I was about to post that even though I have never delt with him, I have not heard a bad word about his dealings in the three years I have known of him.  His product is top notch and all say he is a real stand up guy.  With that said, I would have lost it a while ago, I can't wiat that long for a barrel, life is just too short.

Mike is still making barrels but no longer taking orders, hence the shut-down of the website (though keeping it up with an explanation would have been nice).

He is working on a rather large backlog or orders, some of which I have been told are approaching 3 years.

His barrels do feature exceptional quality, but one can also get superb products from MGM and SSk -- and usually well inside a 6-week window.

Does he still offer the Grip-Chip for mounting an Encore stock on a G2 Contender?

MGM and the older version of them (virgin valley custom guns) barrels are awesomely accurate and the fit and finish always subperb.
