Anyone getting ready?  I went out last Sat. to Fulton Co and saw one flock of about 12-15.  I don't think there were any gobblers in it.   It was late morning and we didn't hear any gobbles.   My buddy patterned his Super X 2 with a new choke while we were out.  I know how my old 835 mossberg works on both ends so I don't care to get my shoulder slammed any more than I have to.  I'll try to do some serious scouting while trout fishing on the Spring River next week.  Looks like the powers that be are shortening the season this year.  I think it will concentrate the hunting pressure which won't be a good.  For one thing it can make it more dangerous.  Last year I took both my birds in the middle of the week but this year it may be necessary to hunt the weekends with everyone else.   Let the games begin!!!!
