Hi,  I am interested in hearing from anyone that has gone down this route . I am a big fan of the small martini action and I just happen to have a good barrel on a Savage 340E  .22K Hornet  which has some other issues that limit its use. Any hints or advice would be most welcome .
I have a .310 martini  & a spare action as well. These old rifles fitted with a good peep sight are a lot of fun to shoot   ;D Many of them are older than the guys pulling the trigger. :D and in better condition as well.
            Cheers Garry

It should be do-able, the Martini only has a 3/4" barrel shank so the savage barrel would need to be turned down to fit.
Cutting the extractor recess's is a alittle more difficult than most.  Good Luck,       Jedman
