Scope for a 45 Carbine

I am looking at the Konus 1.5-5X32 Shotgun scope with the aimpro reticle. 

Just wondering if anyone had any input on these scopes. I've heard a few good things about them, I just wonder how they stack up against other scopes. I know it isn't a top end scope.

While I'm not familiar with the aimpro reticule, I do have a compact 1 x 4 Busnell Banner with the circle 'X' reticule on my 30-30 Handi.  It is a neat idea for a quick shot in the woods, but I'd just as soon just have a normal duplex in it.  I'm putting a VERY compact little Simmons 4 x on my 45 CC as soon as I get back to Michigan.  For some unknown reason that will never be repeated, I'm in Texas at the moment and the CC is back in Michigan.  There's been several times that I wished I had that little gun with me.  44 Man.

I bought a like new but used Leupold 2X shotgun scope at a gun show and sent it back to Leupold and had the very coarse shotgun reticle replaced with a fine standard crosshair reticle. It's a 20 mm objective and very compact. This is what is going on my 45 Colt CC soon, but only for load development. When that  is done a peep will be the permenent sight.

I put a 4x32 Simmons Prodiamond shotgun scope on mine.  It has the coarse diamond around the center crosshair, but it's compact, clear and fits well.  Don't think I need anything stronger.
