Have You Painted Your Handi?

Got me some Krylon Fusion Camo and am working on my Handi 357 maxi, as well as other guns. I'm looking for ideas. Would like to see pics of your homemade camo paint jobs.

  I painted my 17HMR. I stuck some decals of dogs on the original black stock and hit it with a coat of sand color. Stuck on some maple and oak leaf decals and give it a coat of dark green.  Peel off the decals. Black dogs and sand leaves. Did it backward. Should have made the leaves green.

Thanks for pointing me toward FAQ page. I've been there often, I just never saw the pics.  I'm gonna glean ideas and do some painting. If it turns out well I might post up some pics.

I didn't camo mine but I did paint the wood stocks on my .357 Max with Rustoleum bedliner spray paint.  Got a nice durable non-slip finish.

Nope , never painted a Handi in my life .  That's my story and I'm sticking to it .

Truthfully , some of the wood stocked rifles are just fine and a few are truly great , as for the Tupper-wear one's , paint can only help , not hurt .  so go for it , not hard to do at all , just make sure you prep well first .

Like KMBrown, I have painted many gun stocks with rustolium Bed Liner paint.  This stuff dosent hold up very long in your pickup bed if you use it at all... BUT it wears like IRON on a gun stock!!!
