Close Out Prices

Picked up a .22-250 and a .308 for 229.97 each @ Dicks Sporting Goods in Northern ohio..both ultras with camo syn. stocks and 4-12x40 scopes..Anyone else checking there local DSG and seeing similar prices ? At this price me and credit card might have to go on a Dicks road trip..

Last week they had them at $249 in Ne ms. One was a 35 whelan. Can't remember what the others where.

Just picked up a 308 at DICK's in Collegeville, Pa  at 229.00 and they have some more left

Got them in Sandusky, Im a sucker for bull barrel camo stocks..I think Dicks only got these in 223,22-250 or 308..I might check out there stores in Toledo,Mansfield and maybe Elyria .Im  45-60 mins from each..

Recently purchased the identical model in .223 at a Dick's here in PA. They only had the one .223 and two in .308.

The salesman was a very personable guy and says "Why don't you ask me for another 10% because this is a clearance item?"

So I ask him and he responds "Sorry, I can't do that but if you want I'll ask the store manager."

Long story short, he gets her on the phone and tells her a customer wants to know if they will further discount a clearance item and she knocked off another $25.

Altogether, a very entertaining experience. I obviously thanked him.

I find this all too common!! Just dosent usually happen to me!!!

Looks like I'll be heading across the border into Ohio tomorrow to check out the closest Dick's SG.
